Windows sets my refresh rate to a flat 60.00hz when selecting 60hz, and 59.94hz when selecting 59hz. However, 59Hz is shown in the Screen refresh rate in Control Panel, even though the user selected 60Hz. In Windows 7 and newer versions of Windows, when a user selects 60Hz, the OS stores a value of 59.94Hz. I believe Microsoft exposes both 60 and 59 Hz but basically sets them to the same at the OS level. Eg: 60fps doesn't sync properly with a 144hz refresh rate.Īlso make sure Vsync is ON even if in windowed mode for this game as it uses internal Vsync. Make sure it's set to 60hz or 59hz if it's available (this will set it to 59.94hz, the same as consoles use), otherwise you will get timing issues causing judder.
